North East Children’s Charity Selected as Charity of the Year.
After supporting the MS Research & Relief Fund for the past 12 months, we are very happy to announce that Grace House has been chosen as our ‘Charity of the year’ for 2018/19!
Grace House is a UK registered (No. 4419980) children’s charity based in Sunderland which provides a fun, safe and exciting environment for children and young people with complex disabilities, health needs and life limiting conditions.
Grace House offers a range of specialist services to support not just children and young people who have complex disabilities, but the whole family! Their flagship service of short breaks enable several children across a large age range to stay overnight on a planned and regular basis.
Not only does this provide a chance for disabled children and young people to make new friends, do fun and exciting activities and go out on trips, but it provides an opportunity for families to take advantage of the amazing facilities available at Grace House, including a sensory room, soft play & music room.
Over the next twelve months we have lots planned to raise money for this great cause, including an office poker night, fancy dress day and a quiz!
